About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Teacher to support our infant through 6-year-old mixed-age classroom. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and passionate about working with children of all ages. This role provides a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Montessori-inspired setting while making a meaningful impact in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
๐ถ Assist with caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing
๐ฑ Support toddlers and preschoolers in daily activities and routines
๐ Help maintain a calm, engaging, and organized classroom environment
๐ฌ Encourage positive social interactions and model respectful behavior
๐จ Engage children in hands-on learning, play, and outdoor activities
๐งน Assist with classroom organization, meal/snack times, and clean-up
๐ค Work closely with lead teachers and other staff to create a positive learning atmosphere
Requirements
โ๏ธ Must be 18+ years old
โ๏ธ Passion for working with young children in a nurturing environment
โ๏ธ Ability to multitask and adapt to different age groups throughout the day
โ๏ธ Strong teamwork and communication skills
โ๏ธ Willingness to learn Montessori methods and philosophies
โ๏ธ KDHE Foundations of Health and Safety Courseย (Training provided)
โ๏ธ CPR & First Aid Certificationย (Training provided)
